“While looking through the newest trends from 2017 NY Bridal Fashion Week, I came across these gorgeous gowns by Isabelle Armstrong NY. Her spring collection is so fresh and focused on classic silhouettes with a contemporary appeal. There was something instantly mesmerizing about these designs. I knew I had to see them in person!
I teamed up with the talented Jake and Heather Photography to capture the joyful, yet elegant essence that a bride exudes while wearing these styles. There’s no need to over-accessorize with these pieces of art, so we stuck to simple styling. Mena Garcia did an amazing job keeping the makeup natural and the hair loose and romantic. We felt this allowed the personality of the bride and her gown to shine through.
The gowns shown include: “Aubrey” a strapless corset bodice fit and flare gown in a thread-work scroll motif on tulle with a silk organza underlay, “Kaitlyn” a beaded lace t-shirt bodice with chiffon circle skirt, and “Glenn” an all over floral threadwork and beaded t-shirt dress with illusion yoke over nude georgette underlay.
The attention to detail in each gown is impeccable, whether it be the exquisite embroidery or effortless draping, it’s impossible to miss. The fabrics are luxurious and like nothing ever seen before.
