A gorgeous antebellum Mansion with a beautiful garden provided a peaceful and natural setting for Ashley and Michael’s Nashville wedding. The elegant decor and beautiful flowers brightened up their wedding day and made it such a special experience for friends, family and Erin Lee Allender Photography.
Both army kids, their fathers worked together in the Pentagon and knew each other long before Ashley & Mike ever met. Ashley and Mike finally met in High School and dated for a time, but then broke up. Fast forward years later and they reconnect and were married at Historic Riverwood Plantation . The natural setting with their natural elegant decor was perfect it was a compliment by a very a handsome and happy couple. Wait until you see the bride’s dress…
Words from the Bride
I loved our “bucket list” guest book. We set out a mirror that listed the instructions, along with a Polaroid camera, strips of paper, and pens. The instructions read to “(1) take a picture or paper”, then “(2) leave us a note, a wish, or a plan, but most importantly an adventure to add to our forever list and we will complete this list in our lifetime”. The polaroids with the responses and papers with responses were then displayed on the same board that the magnolia leaf place cards had been. So the result was a beautiful wall of priceless pictures decorated in wishes, goals, and adventures for our married life. Those pictures are still some of my favorite moments, and the inscriptions crack us up!
