From the bride:
My fiancé (now husband) and I both like to dance, our life is very active, and is often accompanied by a rise in the pulse rate! That’s how we came up with a name for our wedding: 240 beats per minute. We felt it perfectly described that state when a couple is excited about their life together and deeply in love with each other.
There were two things that we knew we wanted for our wedding – to be surrounded by lots of beautiful flowers and to be in an outdoor location. Since the ceremony and reception were located in different parts of the venue, we decided to hire two different teams of decorators. Although located in different time zones, they worked together to create a ceremony and reception that felt cohesive while remaining unique to their individual visions.
Our wedding preparations took 9 months. 9 months full of worries, developing a concept, drawing sketches, and negotiations – and finally the day came. On that day we realized that it was all worth it – when we all our relatives and friends had gathered to share this special occasion; when I had butterflies in my stomach during the ceremony; and when I cried all day with happiness.
We are so happy that our wedding turned out to be exactly as we had dreamt: surrounded by gorgeous fresh flowers, with a ceremony in a forest, and a reception outdoors. Despite a large number of guests, the event was very cozy and we are grateful to every vendor who put their heart and soul into creating our best day ever!
