Inspired by the sparkling beaches of Cabo, blush, blue and gold served as the color palette for this destination wedding. The desert and beach landscape complete with cacti, palm trees, and vibrant flowers created a perfect tropical backdrop for the ceremony. And, the extreme heat didn’t keep the bride from looking gorgeous in a white lace gown.
After saying “I do”, the wedding party celebrated at tables set with a lush and leafy centerpiece, gold plates, and romantic candles. Caroline and Michael cut their cake at the dessert table that also included churros, cookies, and fresh fruit. To end the night, the bride and groom enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool.
When asked if there were any memorable moments, the Bride responded, “The entire event was so special. My favorite part was probably the dessert table that Bonnie put together, it was totally her vision and turned out amazing. My husband and I didn’t want a big cake but my mom really wanted us to have one so we compromised on a small one. When we did the cake cutting it was around this beautiful dessert table and after we were done the kids did their own cake cutting and smashed the cake in each other’s faces. The pictures from that are some of my favorite. It was also a million degrees the day of our wedding and at the end of the night my husband stripped down to his underwear and jumped in the pool and then my sister pushed me in afterward, I’m pretty sure everyone will remember that.”
