From Christine, the planner:
“Inspired by the fluidity of a gorgeous layered gown, an untouched sandy beach, and their pale pastel sunsets, planner Christine McFarlane teamed up with photographer Megan Harris to bring a romantic west coast feel to the east coast. The soft color palette was brought to life through the feminine florals by Little Miss Lovely, and the dewy natural bridal look created by Blushed matched the pale pink BHLDN gown to the enhanced the romantic west coast vibe of Assateague National Park.
The ceremony location was marked with a west coast inspired pampas grass triangular archway adorned with complementary floral arrangements to the barefoot bride’s bouquet. Garland contrasted the sand to outlined the aisle for the beach elopement.
The color palette transitioned to the tablescape with the accents of pink glass chargers, pink glass water goblets, and the watercolor pastel napkins that mimicked the sky. The Something Vintage Rentals natural sandwood sweetheart table fit perfectly nestled into the dune like setting on the sandy waterfront.
With the Atlantic ocean crashing behind it, the elegant and angular hexagon cake by Little Village Bakery was the perfect combination of a touch of femininity and a hint of modern design. That same feeling of femininity and modern was also brought to the shoot by the stunning ring from Olive Avenue Jewelry.
Grove Lettering Co. designed a romantic textured invitation suite, downing a hand-drawn pampas grass in the dainty neutral color scheme. The hand-lettered champagne bottle with the lyrics of a Cat Power song was a personal touch to the sweetheart table that brought it to the next level.”
