We were over the moon when we saw that one of our favorite London-based film photographers, Aneta Mak Photography, sent us this breathtaking destination wedding that she recently shot in Provence, France. Her work is always inspiring and each image has a fairytale-like quality, and this wedding was no exception- filled with incredible light and warmth.
Aneta took advantage of the soft natural light from this French countryside to capture truly amazing images of this lovely couple on their wedding day. From Aneta: “And the light, oh the beautiful golden light – these are the occasions that are made for good old-fashioned film photography – full of rich detail, the soft pastel colours, the ethereal moments.” We agree with Aneta, these photographs simply glow.
This enchanting wedding was held at Christian Dior’s old summer home in the South of France, Chateau de la Colle Noire. The Chateau is just a drive away from the sweet mountaintop villages of Semillons and Fayence. This fabulous Chateau in Provence looks like an absolute dream or something out of a movie. We love the stunning shots of the rolling hills, lush gardens, and vast vineyard. Chateau de la Colle Noir simply looks like an absolutely ideal place to get married, and this lucky couple picked the perfect photographer to capture their wedding day.
