It was a quintessential day in the ancient city of Firenze. After a long hot day, the summer sun subdued and offered the dreamiest hues of gold, and whispers of the shimmering city beyond painted a breathtaking view. Villa le Fontanelle, nestled outside of the city center just far enough away to offer a bit of distance from the bustle of the city – yet still close enough to see Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore on the horizon.
Simply put, our inspiration for this shoot was Florence. It is a truly beautiful and ancient city. This shoot was designed to evoke understated elegance and timelessness, while still encompassing old world romance. The lush florals paired so perfectly with that Florentine sunset, and the the rest …. well, the images say it all!
