When it comes to hosting a bridal shower, brunch is one of my favorite options for a number of reasons: 1) it’s easy to plan and you can prepare most of the food and beverages ahead of time, 2) it’s budget friendly since you don’t need a caterer, and 3) brunch is just plain fun! However, your bridal brunch doesn’t have to be all mimosas and tea sandwiches, especially if you’re planning your get-together this fall. With a stylish Keurig® brewer, a tasty selection of Green Mountain Coffee® K-Cup® pods in fall flavors, and all the fixings, you can set up a delicious coffee bar for your bridal shower guests in a snap!
One of the benefits of setting up a self-serve Keurig® coffee bar at your bridal shower is that it creates a casual, stress-free environment that allows guests to mingle with the bride-to-be all while making their own perfect hot beverage!
The Brewer
The Keurig® K475 Brewing System, pictured here in Sandy Pearl, is the perfect choice for a gathering of friends because it boasts a large 70 oz. water reservoir (so you’re not constantly refilling), as well as strength and temperature controls on the large color touch screen to help you brew the perfect cup of coffee, tea or even hot cocoa! In addition to single K-Cup® pods, you can also brew a four-cup carafe of coffee, all at the touch of a button.
The Beverages
Nothing says fall like a pumpkin spice latté, so of course you’ll want to stock up on plenty of Green Mountain Coffee® Pumpkin Spice K-Cup® pods. No worries if not everyone is a coffee drinker; another great seasonal flavor choice is Café Escapes® Chai Latté.
Every guest can customize their drink with toppings and mix-ins ranging from creamer to cinnamon and nutmeg to whipped cream! Mason jars and small glass milk bottles are a great way to present them at the coffee bar – just be sure to label each item to help guests avoid any allergens or dietary restrictions.
The Food
As I mentioned before, brunch is perfect for bridal showers because you can either make an assortment of easy finger foods, or you can cheat a little (no one will know, I promise) and go for a beautiful presentation of fresh baked goods from your local grocery store or bakery. To me, nothing goes better with coffee than a doughnut, so I opted to display skewers of pumpkin, glazed, powdered sugar and chocolate glazed doughnut holes on a cake stand. It doesn’t get any easier than that, does it?
The Decor
Decorating your coffee bar is a cinch, especially when the Keurig® K475 Brewing System is center stage – it’s pretty all on its own! While the brewer, the K-Cup® pods and other coffee accessories will be the focal point, you can use seasonal decorations like pumpkins, candles, fresh flowers, etc. to add a little something extra to the space. If you’re anything like me, you probably already have some beautiful fall decorations around the house, so make use of them. You don’t have to spend a fortune to make the area inviting; the heavenly aroma of freshly brewed coffee will take care of that for you!

A Thoughtful Gift
Besides starring in a memorable bridal shower, Keurig® brewing systems (ranging from $99.99 to $179.99 retail) make a wonderful gift for the newlyweds, as well as a thoughtful “thank you” gift for the best man, the maid of honor or even the mothers of the bride and groom.
As someone who has owned and used a Keurig® brewer for a number of years now, I’ve become quite accustomed to every cup of coffee being fresh and piping hot. Plus, my husband and I are able to enjoy “his” and “hers” coffee varieties thanks to the ease of K-Cup® pods. Now that I’ve experienced the ease of making coffee with Keurig, I’ll never go back to a plain old coffeemaker!
