Charlotte and Matt didn’t want a overly done engagement shoot. They were hoping for an authentic “at home” session. They moved into their new Brooklyn apartment just a month before, and it was a perfect place to capture comfort and love. Since we were shooting in their apartment away from onlookers and outside distractions, we were able to talk, laugh and create images that would be meaningful to them. When we spent enough time shooting indoors we grabbed a bite to eat and took some photos on the streets of Brooklyn. These extra moments in the cafe and walking the streets were a perfect addition to our more intimate moments inside.
