Elie Saab designs are known for their whimsy and innovation and his bridal collections are no different. The gowns are always full of surprises and range from feminine to modern and everything in between.
Many of Saab’s collections have caught our eyes over the years, but his more recent designs have been totally swoon-worthy. Take a look at some of our recent favorites that may make your heart skip a beat.
The designer just previewed his Spring 2024 collection, so it’s fresh in our minds. The collection, titled A Sense of Wonder, aims to transcend fleeting moments while capturing a place between heaven and earth through elegant designs and intricate details.
This is the very first look from the new collection—a modern take on the traditional strapless A-line gown. The gown, made of silk Mikado, boasts a ruched bodice and thigh-high slit in the ankle-length skirt.
To elevate this minimalist gown, the detachable overskirt adds volume while creating a chapel-length train. A pair of satin heels and a sleek updo are classic touches for this wedding-day look.
The next look in this collection is another strapless A-line, but it’s definitely less traditional and more fun and feminine.
The silk mikado gown features pleating all over the skirt and bodice, to mirror the movement of waves, and the ruffled neckline is super unique. The natural waist has a thick cinched band to really accentuate the bride’s figure before flowing into the soft, billowy skirt. A circular cut train completes the look.
Since the top has a lot of detail, keep the accessories simple like a pair of classic diamond or pearl earrings. We also like an updo here to really allow that flirty neckline to shine.
One of the most stunning, and sparkly, wedding gowns in the collection is this strapless number.
The organza and silk mikado ball gown starts with a classic sweetheart neckline and a simple white ribbon belt—but then the gown takes a dramatic turn.
The rest of the dress is beautifully adorned with intricate crystal stones, beads, shiny sequins and budding cherry blossom florals all over the voluminous tulle skirt. The effervescent gown is definitely made for the show-stopping bride and a breathtaking venue to match, like a romantic castle. Add a cathedral-length veil to finish the look.
For vintage romance, this long-sleeve wedding gown is so feminine and elegant. The base is actually a mini dress made of beautiful organza material.
A semi-sheer overskirt adds illusions of opacity and transparency while the entire gown is flowing with intricate lace embroidery. The tulle veil, with the same lace embroidery, is a traditional cathedral length to complete the royal-inspired wedding-day look.
The Fall 2023 bridal collection, titled An Echo of Polyhymnia, is all about celebrating bridal femininity. The collection gives breath, movement and symmetrical harmony through Grecian-inspired elements.
This first gown is a strapless wedding dress with a figure-hugging trumpet silhouette. The gown, wrapped in lightweight charmeuse fabric, is embroidered head to toe with glitter beaded 3D leaf-motif appliqué. This particular detail mirrors the olive-leaf Olympian crowns that populated ancient Greece.
We love this look for both the modern and traditional bride. It also works year round, no matter if you’re getting married inside or outside. Since the gown has nature-inspired elements, we think this gown would be perfect for outdoor nuptials.
For a more sexy vibe, this fully embroidered wedding gown is dazzling. The lace and organza gown boasts a plunging v-neck and matching v-back.
The gown is covered with panels of delicate lace, translucent gemstones, sparkly sequins and beading that represents white columns of the Greek temples.
The A-line skirt is a traditional touch, while the knotted waistline gives visual appeal. We love this look for a destination wedding on the beach. Just add a pair of strappy sandals to really match the gown’s overall aesthetic.
This next gown is ultra feminine. The A-line gown, made of flowy organza, boasts a chic v-neckline.
The bodice and drop waist are adorned with 3D organza flower appliqués, crystal stones and beads. The tulle bow sleeves bring attention to the bride’s beautiful face and match the dreamy tulle skirt.
This gown is totally twirl-worthy and made for a bride that wants to look and feel like a modern princess. Add a pair of diamond or pearl floral-motif earrings and classic satin pumps to finish the look.
For our final fave look, we went with an all-out stunner. Dreamy tulle fabric takes center stage in this off-the-shoulder ball gown.
The gown is embroidered to the max with luminescent sequins, beads and pearls with contrasting tiers of gathered ruffled tulle. The designer’s quintessential defined waist is a final touch of grace and poise.
This wedding dress boasts vintage charm and is a grandiose display not to be missed. All eyes will be on you as you walk down the aisle for your church ceremony or regal-inspired nuptials.
