Suzie and Jack got married on a sunny fall day in downtown Cleveland! The outdoor ceremony in the courtyard of The Galleria began right before sunset creating the most beautiful light. The reception took place inside of the grand Galleria at Erieview, which actually doubles as a shopping mall during the week, but you wouldn’t know that after the transformation. The rows of ivory tablecloths and the touches of gold and baby’s breath looked like a dream! To top off the elegance, the bride and groom decided to pass up the traditional cake for a delicious doughnut tower. Maria Sharp Photography captured their day!
A stunning city wedding with a classic black, white and gold palette in Cleveland, OH
If I had to describe my wedding style, I would say that it turned out to be beautifully uncomplicated, a bit non-traditional with a casual feel; we really wanted the focus to be on love – love for each other and everyone who was there supporting us! It was important to me that I didn’t get lost in all of the details and remember what the wedding day was really about. I got really wonderful advice from a friend when I first got engaged – she told me that planning was supposed to be fun; she recommended that the minute planning became stressful, stop and take a break from it. It was important to me to stay grounded and focus on the beauty behind the celebrations. – Suzie
