Edana and Ian’s destination wedding took place at the same spot as their first romantic getaway, near the rocky shores of Lake Superior. Every detail of the day was thoughtfully chosen by the bride and groom, and their vision led to a stylish, effortless and intimate celebration for their closest family and friends. The wedding was held in a historical Duluth building that served as City Hall in the late 19th century. The ceremony and reception were in the former Courtroom, while cocktail hour was in the underground former jail! For decor, they kept things minimal with vintage glassware and subtle greenery. As a personal element, Edana designed the paper goods to include photos they took during their first time visiting Duluth together, as well as handwriting from both of their mothers. Joe & Jen Photography captured their beautiful wedding day!
