We love it when brides or bridesmaids get creative with their hair, and this tutorial that we worked on alongside Christian Marc, is a creative and elegant twist on a traditional ponytail. Try this look on your bridesmaids who want something a little more loose or casual as opposed to an updo, or rock it yourself! This is perfect for girls with medium to long hair, and we would pair a sleek look like this with either our DIY Natural Bridal Makeup or DIY Elegant Evening Makeup Tutorials.
DIY Double Knot Instructions
1. Take hair and separate into two equal sized parts and twist outward.
2. Take the two equal pieces and knot them together at the base of your scalp, pulling until knot reaches your head.
3. Repeat step 2 so that you have two knots.
4. Take one of the sections (the shorter of the two), tuck and pin up with bobby pins until secure.
