Divergent Wedding Inspiration

This richly hued, romantic wedding styled shoot from Ali & Garrett Wedding Photographers is inspired by Tris and Four’s romance in Divergent! The goal was to incorporate all of the factions in the tablescape: Dauntless, represented by lanterns; Amity, represented by the tree centerpiece; Erudite, represented by water; Candor, represented by glass chargers; and Abnegation, represented by gray stone name cards. The various layers and textures on the cake also represented each faction, as well as the choosing bowls on the table. A train museum was the perfect backdrop, since that’s where Tris and Four’s love story began, and they ended at an amusement park to recreate the ferris wheel scene. I love the unique blend of industrial details and glamorous berry tones!
