Are you ready to get cozy? This incredible handmade fall wedding inspiration shoot will have you reaching for a cup of tea (and in my case, burning my cinnamon-scented candles)! Celebrations By Sarah and Shannon May Photography brought this autumn DIY concept to life with the help of local artists and businesses in New Brunswick, while they did certain elements like the flowers themselves. They wanted to inspire brides and grooms planning fall and winter weddings by showcasing all that New Brunswick has to offer, without necessarily incorporating the traditional gourds, leaves and shades of red and orange. Instead, they chose to draw upon the rich tradition of woolen arts and handcrafted goods along with the natural beauty of the New Brunswick landscape. The lovely models, Sharon and Clinton, are a real couple, too! Sharon’s hair piece is a hand-felted fascinator, and her sweater is made from reclaimed wool (both handmade by June Cable of The Wizard of Felt). The shoot location was Ganong Nature Park, a local treasure donated to the town by the Ganong family (owners of Ganong Chocolates), and the historic Ganong Cottage. A local food artist, Kristen of The Sugar Bakery, created the gorgeous dessert table, which included chocolate chip cookies, caramel-dipped apples and other yummy goodness.
