Clovelly Village
Take a trip to this delightful hillside village, with cobbled streets, cottages and a stunning blue harbor. You will certainly never be bored and can spend your entire day looking around and taking part in the various actives that Clovelly has to offer. There are two museums to visit or craft workshops where you can make your other half a beautiful pot for the house or create your own devore scarf. There is also a film you can watch all about the history as you take a tour around the village. There is as much to see as there is to do with annual festival events such as ‘Seaweed Festival’, ‘Maritime Festival’, ‘Lobster and Crab Festival’ and the ‘Herring Festival’.
Go Ape
Now, of course, this might not be for everyone as it will certainly test your fears and get your hearts racing but at Haldon in Devon you can spend two to three hours up in the trees on a high rope course. Take on Tarzan Swings, Rope Ladders, Zip Wires and numerous other obstacles. You’ll get the opportunity to see the beautiful 3,500 acres of woodland on foot or from the highest platform of 14 meters!
Axe Valley Wildlife Park
For all you wildlife lovers out there check out Axe Valley Wildlife Park in East Devon. This is only a small zoo but you can easily spend your day feeding the birds and attending talks about the various animals within the park.
Butterfly World
Travelling to the Isle of Wight? Go and visit the Butterfly World. You’ll be able to see hundreds of butterflies that you’d never normally get the chance to or take a splash in the fountain world and walk through the range of water features. Interested in plants? Why not also take a walk to the garden center and try and name as many plants as you can?

Tintagel Village
Situated on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall, Tintagel has stunning sea views that can be seen from the castle ruins on the island. Full of myths and mystery about King Arthur who is very closely associated with the village, the history behind this place is endless. Take your time visiting the 14th -century farmhouse or take a romantic walk up to the Glebie Gliff. There may not be a lot to do here but it is the perfect place to read up on some history and have a laid back day with your loved one admiring the architecture.

Feel like a giant in this miniature world and visit one of Torquay’s main attractions Babbacombe Model Village. With thousands of miniature buildings and characters why not try and spot your favorite celebs as you take a look at the past, present and feature of England? If you visit in the daytime you can take a look at all the beautiful gardens or if you’re going in the evening you’ll be able to see all the street, car and house lights working.
