Whitney and Dave’s spring wedding at Spindletop Hall in Lexington was a timeless and elegant celebration with royal blue details and a fairy tale horse-drawn carriage! The flower girl was so enamored with the horse, she didn’t want to walk down the aisle, and Whitney forgot her vows, but the day was perfect nonetheless. At the reception, they served a selection of pies instead of wedding cake, and they ended the night with plenty of dancing. Julie Roberts Photographic Artist captured their day!
A classic blue Kentucky wedding in Lexington
We were visiting Washington DC and Dave was constantly looking for a good place to propose, but I kept ruining it in true fairy tale fashion. Every time he would hold my hand or try to say something nice and romantic I would laugh at him and shrug it off. Even when he tried to take me to a nice dinner, I was tired and refused to go anywhere that I would have to shower for. So, he ended up proposing in the hotel room. But considering our relationship, it was perfect. – Whitney
