Every fall, we wait with bated breath to see what bridal designers will be rolling out at the annual autumn New York Bridal Fashion Week. This year, we were privileged to go behind the scenes with Madison James Bridal and Allure Bridals. Today, we’re walking you through some of our favorites from the Madison James new Spring 2017 Collection, talking about bridal trends and showing some chic wedding dress ideas for you!
We saw these gorgeous wedding dresses sashaying down the runway, and had to ask: what inspired the collection? Seeing a completed gown is, after all, a completely different thing than getting insight directly into the designer’s mind. Here’s what they told us:

From abstract lace to clean lines, 3D embroidered flowers to luxurious textures, each and every wedding dress in the 2017 collection featured an incredible fabric, which inspired the gowns themselves. Whether you’re drawn more to clean lines or modern embellishments, you’ll find a unique, chic option. - Customizable Wedding Gowns
The designers at Allure Bridals and Madison James sought to give brides the ability to customize their wedding dresses. Now, you’re able to mix and match certain aspects of their 2017 gowns to create your own look: detachable trains are one of their favorite features, and the ability to add or remove sleeves or straps is one of ours! The designers really wanted to create something for every bride, and to make each and every bride feel special.
