One of the most wonderful things about a destination wedding is that it gives you the opportunity to spend a couple of quality days celebrating this wonderful time in your life with those that meant the most to you. When we saw the photos from Cassandra and Dan’s celebration we knew we had to share their rehearsal dinner with you, as well as the wedding (which you can see on Wednesday).
Yes, guests arrived via boat on Lake Como, Italy. But the dinner blended beautifully with the quaint surroundings of the town and its cobblestone streets. Arriving near sunset, the celebration continued into the evening. The tables were simple and welcoming, set under a tent, allowing the evening to create the mood. Lovely calligraphy accented organic paper for the menus and small clay pots contained pretty touches of red. Cassandra and Dan were the most formal touch, with her short lace dress and his suit. You can just see how wonderful it all was!
