From Caroline and Marcus, the Bride and Groom:
“When we got engaged we knew we wanted a big wedding where our family and friends could get together and celebrate with us while enjoying great food and wine. I was a flower girl at Holman Ranch years ago and fell in love with the ranch all over again when we visited. We threw a fun pool party Friday before our wedding where we visited with out of town friends and family. Having the guest cottages on the property for our families and the wedding party was a special treat that allowed everyone to spend more time together. Our vision for the big day included a romantic color palette, Italian food and wine, and a raw bar with local seafood. We were married at the Carmel Mission by our longtime family priest who flew up from Los Angeles. The cheering and joy we heard in church walking out as newlyweds was the most incredible moment, and the smiles on our faces in pictures really tell it all.
We enjoyed incredible French wine that was purchased when I was born and kept in a cellar until my wedding day. Two of our favorite highlights were being hoisted onto our groomsmen’s shoulders while everyone danced and sang ‘Sweet Caroline’ by Neil Diamond, and sneaking away for sunset photos after dinner for some alone time as a married couple. To top off this joyous occasion, we were graced with fabulous weather and the presence of our favorite people.”
