“Leah and Travis may live in Kansas City but Colorado will always hold a special place in their hearts. After many ski trips and vacations to the Rockies, the two knew that they had to get married in the mountains! With the help of their planner, Hourglass Productions, they settled on the hidden gem of High Country Lodge. This house sleeps 42 guests and provides ample space for wedding merriment as well as mountain views. The owner of the venue, Patrick, prides himself on having happy guests and catering to not only their food needs but anything else as well!
It was important to them both that the weekend be joyous but simple. Delicate blooms from Helios Floral accented the entire party. The bride, groom, and immediate family, as well as wedding party, were all able to bunk at the massive house for the weekend allowing everyone to spend quality time together while preparing for (and recovering from) the wedding.
After a short but very sweet ceremony, the guests moved from the lawn into the tent where everyone was served family style entrees until the party began. And party they did! Cupcakes and sweets from Yours Truly Cupcake, drinks from Garnish Mobile Bartending and tunes from JM Hyatt Entertainment provided for a rowdy soiree, which thankfully the Breckenridge Sheriff didn’t shut down when they arrived on a noise complaint!
Leah and Travis had a simple, quintessentially Colorado wedding and dance-party with such a close family feel I’m sure all guests will remember for years to come!”
