“Eleonora and Marco’s wedding took place last summer, at the end of September, on a secret and beautiful Sicilian island called Pantelleria. Marco and his family are the owners of one of the best restaurants on the island. Some years ago, in 2015, Eleonora was in Pantelleria on holiday when she decided to go to Marco’s restaurant to have dinner. It was love at first sight! Pantelleria is one of Sicily’s most characteristic minor islands. Its rocky coastline, sometimes dramatic and sometimes gentle, was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s session. The interior of the island is defined by lava stone walls, several volcanic peaks and scattered “Dammusi”. Eleonora and Marco both got ready in one of these characteristic houses. They got married in a small, white church in the heart of the island dedicated to Saint Antonio (same name of Marco and Eleonora’s grandfathers) and then moved to Marco’s restaurant with a small group of friends and relatives for a waterfront celebration.”
