This is just so pretty! It comes in black and brown and offers underwire support. I love the twisted neckline and the fly-away front panels.

Of course, we know you’ll be taking good care of your skin while you’re at the beach, but just to be on the safe side, you might want to pack a cover up. Luckily, each of these is really cute so you won’t feel bad about hiding your suit and skin from the sun for a bit.

I’m not one for wearing fancy shoes at the beach, so I really love these cute and simple starfish flip flops! If you’re going to be spending any length of time in the sun, a hat is a very good idea. The floppier, the better, but the Panama and bucket hats are adorable, too!

Last, but certainly not least, are some ideas for what to pack in your beach bag. Good eyewear is crucial; in fact, you might want to splurge on a pair with polarized lenses. The reflections off the water and sand at the beach can actually be pretty rough on your eyes, and the polarized lenses fight glare and minimize the amount of light that reaches the eyes. In other words, less squinting. Also, did you know that different lens colors are more than just a fashion statement?

What do different sunglasses’ lens colors mean?

  • Gray (smoked) lenses protect from UV radiation without distorting colors. They’re good for prolonged wear and everyday use.
  • Brown lenses filter out most blue light while maintaining optimal vision, even in uneven or irregular light.
  • Green lenses have the greatest visual accuracy and offer the highest contrast. They’re good for reducing glare, as well, and are recommended for prolonged use in extreme lighting conditions.
  • Purple and pink lenses offer the best contrast for objects against green or blue backgrounds, so they’re good for water sports.

I also had to share these 100% vegan and cruelty-free products from Pacifica. I absolutely LOVE this company, and I’ve been using their products for almost two years now. Everything smells amazing, and the quality is top-notch. The coffee scrub is perfect for getting your skin ready for beach weather, and the wipes are awesome to have when you’re sweaty or salty (and let’s face it, you’re probably going to experience both at the beach). The roll-on perfumes are so handy for when you want to freshen up a bit, and they come in delicious scents like Hawaiian Ruby Guava, Tuscan Blood Orange, Island Vanilla, etc.

PS: The Tuscan Blood Orange is my absolute favorite. It’s the best citrus scent. Try it – you’ll love it!
