Autumn Luxe Mountain Wedding

Shariyu and Cameron’s October wedding at the St. Regis Deer Valley was on a beautiful but chilly day surrounded by incredible fall foliage. The venue inspired Shariyu to include deer throughout the wedding, such as a faux mounted head surrounded by a wreath of blooms and escort cards with deer antlers dipped in glitter! Guests were treated to personal favors that combined the ideas of fall and warmth: apple and pumpkin loose tea blends, and homemade pumpkin spice scones. They also made sure all the female guests had pashmina scarves to keep warm. The color palette of eggplant, beige, blush and ivory was accented by pewter as an homage to Park City’s history of mining. Their autumn-inspired menu was a gourmet delight, and they also served a signature cocktail, “Fall in Love,” designed after Cameron’s favorite drink, the Manhattan. Cameron proposed on October 27, 2012 at Market Street South Jordan. I was far from expecting it and was taken by surprise. It was a cold and stormy day outside, and we were sitting at the table looking at the wine menu when he said he couldn’t imagine his life without me, wished I had come into his life sooner but now that I was in it, he didn’t want to lose me and asked if I would marry him!
