Autumn Cheekwood Botanical Gardens Wedding

Lauren and Jeff were married on a gorgeous fall day in Nashville at Christ the King Cathedral, followed by a reception under the stars at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. Lauren and Jeff are two adventurous souls who love the outdoors, hiking and traveling, along with enjoying the simple pleasures of life at home. In fact, Jeff participated in an Ironman race shortly before the wedding with his brother! The emotional speeches at the reception by Lauren’s dad, Jeff’s twin brother and Lauren’s sister really showed how much these two families have come together. The bride had a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding gown sewed to the inside of the top of her dress, and the bottom button on her dress was from her grandmother’s wedding gown. Their “guestbook” was really unique: they had guests write well wishes on rocks and drop them into the wishing well at Cheekwood (into a bucket so they could be kept).
