There is nothing better than having a stylist/planner share their wedding with our brides! They are always great at interpreting a bride’s vision – but what happens when the vision is all their own? Here’s a peek from stylist/planner Natalie at her own event:
I loved that our modern warehouse venue was a blank space. I knew I wanted to keep the design of our wedding minimal, clean, and elegant to reflect my husband and I, who are lovers of simplicity. Another reason I wanted to keep décor minimal was so that our florals could shine! I’ve been a fan of Sammy’s work for a long time, and he helped bring all my flower dreams to life. I told him I wanted to incorporate the natural, organic feel of being in a garden to my wedding, and he created a textural ceremony enclosure, and a hanging installation for our reception.
We were married under an oak tree, enclosed by blooms, and surrounded by our dearest friends and family. During our reception, guests dined family style while we snuck away for more photos in the golden light. Designing and styling my own wedding has always been important to me, and every moment was as magical as I had imagined it would be – even more so.
Details are so important to me as a wedding planner, and my dear friend and photographer captured every part of my wedding beautifully. It was such a dream to have some of my favorite vendor friends working at my wedding, and I am thankful to all of them for creating so much beauty on the most memorable day of my life!
