This late fall styled shoot by Trixie Ortiz of YOUnique Event & Design and Gabriela Miller, in the beautiful blue mountains of Eastern Oregon, captures the magic of a storybook wedding. By using a deep red and green color palette to represent Snow White and the forest, accompanied by the shades of blue in the bride’s velvet shoes and sapphire jewelry, Younique Event & Designs was able to combine elements of a typical modern-day wedding with themes from the fairytale. The poisoned apple, the bride’s deep sleep and her waking by ‘prince charming’, and the mirror on the wall also helped to illustrate the essence of Snow White. From Younique Event & Designs: “Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is though fairest bride of them all. Growing up I always dreamed of those Disney fairytale stories. With the help of several creatives, my vision of a Snow White wedding came alive. There are many gorgeous ways to incorporate some of the Snow White story into your wedding day, after all, that is our goal. It could be a few apples in your bouquet, a true red lipstick, or you could even have table names of the seven dwarves!”
