From the stylists/planners, Mylene & Geoffrey:
Liz and Ben’s elopement in Paris was centered around “something blue” as Ben had proposed in Paris with a stunning sapphire that belonged to his grandmother. They knew from that moment that they wanted to tie the knot in the City of Lights. The day went by simply and really reflected the couple – one filled with elegance and simplicity. Liz got ready in a hotel near the Trocadero and joined Ben for a first look in the morning in front of the Eiffel Tower, where Ben had proposed almost a year before. After that candid and heart melting first look, they went for a couple session on Place Vendôme before heading to their ceremony. There they exchanged touching vows, and their happiness to finally become husband and wife was really contagious! They popped the bubbly with some sweets before heading to dinner in one of their favorite restaurant in town.
We really got inspired by Liz’s gorgeous engagement ring to style their elopement, as she really liked the Something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue maxim and wanted to incorporate it on this special day. We worked with different shades of blue in several elements, such as the gorgeous flowers, the ribbons, the bespoke stationery, and the vow books. Her light blue wedding dress was the perfect final touch to thieir beautiful day!
