From Katie, the bride:
Tom and I have always loved Italy and have spent many summer holidays there together. It will always have a special place in our hearts. This is why we immediately fell in love with our venue in beautiful Cotswolds, England. Its unique European influences, both in terms of architecture and interiors, created the perfect setting to capture our love for Italy. As wedding planners and stylists ourselves, my sister Nancy found it to be reminiscent of another time with its unusual rococo style. We used our styling of the wedding to reflect that feeling, incorporating shells, linens, and silk, against the timeless marble. Stunning flowers with elegant silver toned foliage, hints of olive branches, and beautiful cappuccino and blush roses were used throughout.
My dress was also reminiscent of European style, with heavy lace embroidery and a magnificent train. I wore it with a pair of rose gold heels, a delicately embroidered cathedral length veil, statement jewelry, and a beautiful rose gold hairpiece. A stunning and delicate rose gold bracelet was a last minute addition to my wedding attire (it was a surprise gift from Tom on the morning of our wedding). Our dear friend shot the wedding (and also attended as a guest). It wouldn’t have felt right to have anyone else shoot our special day and we will always be thankful that she accepted our request!
