I have to admit it upfront….tabloid magazines are probably my favorite guilty pleasure. People…Us Weekly… InTouch…. I love them all. The drama! The fashion! The hair! It’s vicarious living at it’s best. While I may not get much inspiration for daily living (I hope!) from the rich and famous, celebrity weddings can be different story. With a seemingly endless budget and the best event planners, stylists and photographers on hand, celebrity brides can offer some fabulous inspiration for those of us living in the real world.
When it comes to who Hollywood turns to for wedding dresses, Vera Wang is the undisputed queen. Celebrity after celebrity has called upon Vera for her big day.
Wang, a superstar designer and celebrity in her own right, uses rich fabrics, luxurious details and expert craftsmanship. She is known for taking traditional styles and adding unique modern touches to create one-of-a-kind dresses. She is often considered the preeminent wedding dress designer in the business today.
2009 Vera Wang brides include Ivanka Trump, Khloe Kardashian, Alyssa Milano, Ali Larter, Kara DioGuardi and Natasha Bedingfield.
And that’s just last year.
In year’s past you’ve seen Vera Wang wedding dresses on Sara Evans, Niki Taylor, Avril Lavigne, Tiffani Thiessen, Susan Levin, Jennifer Garner, Heidi Klum, Sophia Bush, Elin Nordegren, JLo (to Marc Anthony), Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Simpson, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Leann Rimes, Angie Harmon, Kate Hudson, Debra Messing, and Bridgette Wilson.
And while most celebrities wore custom creations, some did wear Vera Wang’s available at retail. (You can even find Jessica Simpson’s, Avril Lavigne’s and Ali Larter’s on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com!)
