Winter is all about textures and this styled shoot by Vivid Vibes Event Planning and The Howard Brand highlights different elements ideal for a winter elopement or bridal celebration in the city. The deep rich jewel tones of burgundy, violet, red, white, black, silver, gold with pops of green played a huge part in the city chic feel the bride and groom were trying to achieve. Faux fur was mixed with the brides silver sheer sequin gown and for the groom, the texture of his pants, the gold embroidery on shirt sleeve and the velvet bowtie added interesting elements of style.
Inside the Marcella’s, a popular Short North restaurant in downtown Columbus, soft organic florals on the table were used to complement the stones used in the napkin holders and soften the modern yet cold, marble table top. Outside the restaurant, the alley-way with brick-laden streets and the glass from the outside of the restaurant paired perfectly with the couple’s textured layer look.
