The slate blues, lush greens, and soft whites of this styled shoot by Monica Brown Photography and Kelsie Lynn Photography has us wishing for spring. They partnered with many creatives from around Dayton, Ohio to incorporate many romantic, handmade, and creative details. From the heirloom engagement ring to the stunning handmade agate slice earrings, to the incredible floral arrangements, no detail was left unnoticed.
The Photographers’ Thoughts
It was no secret that the couple, Kate and Michael, were head over heels for each other. In every photograph they tenderly held each other, naturally giggled, and there were several moments that we genuinely thought they didn’t realize we were in the room photographing them! They seemed to get lost in each other’s eyes and I don’t know any girl who wouldn’t want a man to look at her the way Michael was eyeing his bride Kate! To say that romance was in the air would be an understatement!
Leave it up to Something Old Dayton, Lesser Bear, and Jen K Calligraphy to make a simple pear look so elegant as it featured the bride and groom seating at their sweetheart table. Don’t even get me started on the smells. The sweet aroma of each flower paired with the freshly cut bread and cheese seriously had our mouths watering! You’ll also notice that Kate wore two different Anya Dionne wedding gowns and we loved this idea when we thought of future 2018 and 2019 brides who may want a unique look for each part of her wedding day.
