The inspiration comes from florist and stylist Anastasiya Makarenko of Anastasiya’s Blooms. She wanted to create a chic twist to a bohemian wedding. The venue is the beautiful grounds of the Old Whaling Station Adobe in Monterey which was built in 1847. The structure exudes old world charm with the adobe frame structure dominated by stucco arches, columns and a rustic trellis overhead. There are many cactus and succulent details that can be found in the arch and on the desserts. This wedding inspiration encourages couples to step outside the box and go bright and bold for their big day.”
