There’s nothing more romantic than a windswept mountain elopement! This lovely styled shoot was photographed in Glacier, Washington, at Artist Point. From Karissa Marie Photography:
This styled shoot was actually inspired by the landscape of Whatcom County. Just an hour outside of Bellingham lies Artist Point with a breathtaking up close view of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan. With beautiful views at every turn and yet no hiking really necessary to get there, Artist Point would be an amazing place for a real elopement. The incorporation of blackberries into the florals, crown, and boutonnière were inspired both by the mountains and the berry utopia in Whatcom County. The real couple, Zach and Noel, love spending time in the mountains and the simplistic nature of saying their vows among the majestic panoramas of Artist Point suited them. The table, though simple, was elegant with hints of gold and scalloped place settings. The table nestled into the mountainside with a valley below could not provide a more serene, romantic getaway to cherish the day. A simple custom designed gown of soft blue moved unrestrained in the breeze, reflecting both the natural surroundings as well as the grand sophistication of the mountaintop. The bride’s make-up was soft and romantic curls carried away in the fresh mountain air. The beauty and magnificence of Artist Point makes it the perfect choice for couples wanting a majestic yet serene location for their intimate wedding or elopement.
