Lysandra and Mike got married in May at Springs Preserve along with their 8-year-old son! The ceremony was held at the garden arboretum, and for the reception, guests moved to the Garden Terrace, where all the tables were decorated with ombre linens the bride dyed herself. The linens were accented by mismatched vintage dishes and ivory and blush pink floral arrangements. Guests were also treated to fluffy pink cotton candy with edible gold glitter, and a fun photo booth! Jennifer Steffen Photography captured their celebration.
A floral-filled ombre Garden Terrace wedding in Las Vegas, NV
‘May 3rd. Hands down. Best. Day. Ever.’ We are weeks past the date and I still catch my handsome groom smiling, and when I ask him why that is what he says. I hope I can catch him saying this 2 years, 10 years, 25 years down the road. We met at a work happy hour. The initial meeting could not have been more awkward. Obviously, we worked that out and he spent our courting time surprising me. We were engaged for 16 months, but time really does fly when you are having fun with your bestie.
The florist, Jennifer French, is also a dear friend, and amazing (and I mean super amazing) florist had done a beautiful ombre petal runner that led to a chandelier covered in greenery and flowers. My little man, Mikey, walked me down the aisle, to the sounds of a mariachi band (dressed in white) playing. – Lysandra
