Valentina and Seth’s rustic wedding along the New River took place on a rainy fall day, and despite the weather, the soft, diffuse light was perfect for capturing all of their gorgeous, rustic DIY details. The bouquets and boutonnières were handmade by the bride and her friends with Southern dried cotton, cream roses, baby’s breath and linen. The reception tables were covered in cream, white and gold vintage lace table cloths and doilies, natural wood chargers and a variety of recycled glass bottles filled with dried cotton stalks. Other vintage details included rustic wooden and chalkboard signs, large vases of pink roses and cotton stalks, old timepieces and skeleton keys. Their cake was a simple, rustic two-tiered cake provided by the maid of honor’s mother. Valentina wore a simple strapless, empire-waist gown paired with classic pearl jewelry and a simple floral hairpiece. Her bridesmaids wore rose floor-length gowns, while all of the gentlemen wore dark jeans and taupe vests, and everyone wore cowboy boots, of course!
