Lovely Purple Mountain Wedding

Christy and Drew both attended Virginia Tech and fell in love with Blacksburg’s gorgeous mountainous location, so Sinkland Farms was the perfect choice of venue for their summer wedding. The bridesmaids wore pretty lace dresses and carried simple white and purple bouquets of mixed flowers, and the groom and groomsmen wore khaki suits with purple ties. Christy’s veil was actually a DIY project, even though it looks like a vintage piece! Their ceremony overlooked the mountains and was adorned with beautiful purple florals that popped against the blue hues of the peaks. Rustic old doors were placed at the end of the aisle for Christy’s dramatic entrance. The couple wanted their reception to be entertaining for guests both young and old, so they divided the area into two spaces: one for dancing and one for mingling.
