A Persian wedding ceremony in Atlanta, GA
Mary and Ramin’s September wedding at the Metro Atlanta Chamber was filled with laughter, love and lots of dancing! The ceremony took place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and they had a Persian wedding ceremony at the start of the reception to honor Ramin’s heritage; guests sprinkled sugar into a veil over the couple’s heads to sweeten their love! MyLife Photography captured their wedding day.
My favorite memory of the wedding reception was the FLASHMOB! My younger cousins (10 years old) had the idea that they should create a dance for the wedding. My cousin, Angie, then choreographed a dance to P!nk’s “Raise Your Glass” and after the toasts, about 40 members of the wedding party, my family and Ramin’s family came out and flashmobbed us! Both Ramin and I were flabbergasted! What a gesture of love when so many people dedicate their time to make two people smile as much as we did! We couldn’t help ourselves, by the second chorus we were both on the dance floor watching and trying to learn the dance. It was incredible! – Mary
