From Karen, the dress designer:
“A romantic proposal on a camping trip sparked it all. Jake set up the ring inside the couple’s tent with his headlight shining right on it. He then asked Maria to get his headlight for him where she saw the stunning engagement ring sitting inside waiting for her. It was only natural that these two lovebirds would exchange their vows tucked away in the Catskill Mountains with the wilderness surrounding them.
Their outdoor ceremony was intimate, romantic, rustic, and kept simple as to not distract from the natural beauty of the surroundings. The stunning red toned florals throughout the venue, the bride’s bouquet, and the groom’s tie and boutonnière emphasized the feel and mood of a perfect Fall day for this beautiful Fall wedding.
Maria absolutely glowed in her long sleeve beaded gown paired with a cathedral length veil and minimal styling. The couple’s fun-loving personalities were reflected throughout the wedding. Guests were transported in an old school bus, served mini sliders at the reception, and were encouraged to join the bride and groom to tear up the dance floor with some killer moves. Maria and Jake’s wedding was a beautiful day through and through with the couple surrounded by those who loved them the most and a perfect display of the pure love between the two.”
