Real Wedding | Patricia + Josh

I have to admit I’m always inspired by history and tradition. Patricia and Josh’s lovely Washington DC wedding has plenty of both. They married at the historic Cosmos Club and then celebrated with a lavish and stylish reception at the Club. Formality met fun as guests kicked up their heels and got down with the fabulous band. Oh, by the way, did I mention that Patricia is a professional organizer by trade? So, as you can imagine, she got all the little details just right, from the simply chic bridesmaids dresses to the elegant crystal adorned wedding cake. Now this beautiful couple has a lifetime of memories to add to their own personal history. Enjoy!

How they met
We were introduced by mutual friends.

The Wedding
Elegant but FUN.  People came ready to party!

The Reception
The reception was energetic and filled with lots of love and smiles ear to ear!  Everyone was so happy for us and ready to celebrate our new marriage.  The Cosmos Club provided an absolutely beautiful back drop and we added very little detail other than the beautiful people!

The moment Patricia will never forget
About 60 people from our 150 person wedding on the dance floor singing ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by Journey. Our band Escapade did an outstanding job!  I also loved being at the Cosmos Club.  It provided so much rich history for our guests!

How she knew her wedding dress was “The One”
I probably tried on about 12.  This one had the silhouette and classic look that I was going for.  Not to mention the fabric was to die for and the lines were so clean and elegant.

Why she decided to sell her wedding dress
The dress is simply too beautiful to sit in a closet.  I would love for someone else to feel the same way I did wearing it down the aisle.  Fortunately I have about 3,000 pictures from that night and enough memories to last a lifetime!  It doesn’t hurt that I am a professional organizer by trade and enjoy having as little ‘excess things’ around as possible.
