Real Wedding | Tracy & Evel

Tracy and Evel’s wedding feels as much like an elegant evening dinner party as it does a wedding.  I love the sophisticated venue, chic decor and the understated glamour of her stunning Badgley Mischka…no wonder their guests raved.

How he proposed
Evel proposed on the beach at sunset in St. Martin while we were searching for sea shells.

The ceremony
The ceremony was at Scarboro United Church, a big beautiful old church. Evel drew a big black arrow on his ring finger so I wouldn’t get it wrong, it was really funny at the time!

The moment Tracy will never forget
The moment from our wedding that I will never forget is seeing my son and soon to be husband at the front of the church, they were unbelievably handsome, my son is wheelchair bound and to see him all proud in his tux was breathtaking.

The reception
The reception was at The Ranchman’s Club, a traditional private business club downtown – the MOST amazing food!

Splurges and Savings
As far as saving money, we decided to limit out numbers to 75 people but to really splurge on the food and wine, and the very best part of the reception for me was when people told me that the meal was the best that they had ever had, let alone the best that they had had at a wedding!

How she knew her wedding dress was “The One”
Good Gawd I must have tried on 100 dresses and was convinced that I didn’t actually like wedding dresses, until I found mine – there were instant tears. I felt elegant, beautiful and sexy all at the same time, perfect.
