Real Wedding | Latasha & Fabio

Once you get past the jaw-dropping glamour of this wedding (and it might take a while), check out the show stopping way Latasha and Fabio handed out their programs.  No wonder their guests were talking about it all night….

Latasha & Fabio | April 18, 2010  | Oheka Castle Huntington, New York

How he proposed
At the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas on our balcony . Properly of course on one knee. The rest is a blur!

The ceremony

White, outdoors. The most amazing setting in a real life castle

What everyone was talking about

I was so impressed with the tree handing out fortunes at the wedding showcase, that I decided to place the plant in the garden for the ceremony,  I choose the topiary to match my garden theme.

She was very still until you almost were on top of her and then she would very slowly reach out the program to you.  Everyone thought it was the coolest thing ever , a few were startled and jumped because of her sly movements and they didn’t realize there was a person in there.

Most everyone I know has a posed picture with her on their own cameras. they all LOVED it.

The reception
Lush, colorful, fun!

The moment Latasha will never forget
Watching the guests/ & groom get set up below while i watched from my bridal suite balcony! Or…putting the ring on the wrong finger!!

What made her wedding dress “The One”
The dress search started just a week after our engagement and i purchased it 3 weeks after our engagement, even before picking a date and a venue. I must’ve had on at least 50 or 60 dresses. I started at the wedding altiler and then went to bridal reflections. I was in love with the Ines Di Santo’s gowns but when I went to Amsale and put my gown on I JUST KNEW! I just knew. I must say I liked A LOT of dresses and was freaking out because I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to decide which dress to choose because they all made me feel so beautiful. But again the moment I tried my gown on I didn’t want to look a moment more!

Her advice for other brides
It’s your day.  Do what makes you feel happy and comfortable. Don’t settle or sacrifice your happiness for someone else’s… Not this day!
