Prepare to be wowed by Boo and Michael’s fabulous all-American wedding…every detail from this couple’s special day is just stunning! I am in love with Boo’s inimitable Oscar de la Renta gown; the tasteful and fitting hair styles for the bride and bridesmaids (just a little bit Hollywood glamor, no?); a very dapper and real-life gentleman and an officer groom; and the most grand and glamorous wedding venues. Don’t miss Boo’s description of how she felt in her wedding dress: “…like I was Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge in a state utopian dream.” Boo, yes – you are so right!
Boo + Michael | April 14, 2012 | Westin Emerald Plaza, Gas lamp Quarters, San Diego
Ceremony + Reception Our ceremony was held at the Immaculata and our reception took place at Westin Emerald Plaza, Gas lamp Quarters, in San Diego.
Boo’s Dress Search I absolutely had no idea what I was looking for, but once I tried on my Oscar de la Renta gown, I just knew I had to have it and could not leave the store without it! I knew if I tried on anything else, nothing would compare!
How Boo Felt in Her Wedding Dress Elegant, like I was Kate the Duchess of Cambridge in a state utopian dream.
Why Boo Decided to Sell Her Dress This dress is absolutely special and I knew it was completely out of our price range. It’s undeniable that this dress is flattering on any gal since its very fitted and flows so elegantly. It would be so difficult for any gal to see this dress, fall in love with it, and not be able to take it home. I know that making this dress affordable for a bride will complete her dream wedding and vision as it did mine…only half the price! Besides that, there is absolutely no room or closet space with how enormous it is!
