Kerri + Hugh | A Monique Lhuillier Wedding from Gina Munda Photography

It was love at first sight when Kerri discovered her gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown. But, the high price tag had her thinking twice about walking down the aisle in her dream wedding gown. Luckily, she found just what she was looking for on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com. Now, she’s ready to pass this amazing gown on to another special bride. Now that’s a great love story!

Kerri + Hugh | September 12, 2012 | Squaw Valley, North Lake Tahoe

The ceremony

The ceremony took place at the Painted Rock Lodge.  We rented the lodge for the week and had the wedding in the front yard on the Truckee River.

The reception

Our reception was held in the back yard of the Painted Rock Lodge that backs up to the National Forest.

Kerri’s dress search

I had no idea what kind of wedding dress I wanted.  I started at dress shops and quickly became discouraged because even simple dresses were $3000!  Of course I fell in love with Monique Lhuillier dresses …which were all priced at six to eight thousand.  There was no way I was going to spend this much money on a dress, but after visiting a few bridal shops, I had my mind set on a romantic lace dress with an open back.  I found out about PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com and found several all lace Monique dresses.  I bought my dress for half the retail price and the previous owner had only worn the dress for a few hours.  The dress was in perfect condition when I received it.  We did the transaction through Escrow so that both the seller and myself felt secure in making the transaction.  It was so easy, I just had to fill out the escrow paperwork, make the wire transfer at the bank, and wait for my dream dress to arrive.  Two days later, I had my dress, loved it, accepted the transaction on Escrow and the money was wired to the seller.

Why Kerri decided to sell her wedding dress

I will never wear it again, why not?
