Gisele + David | Romona Keveza Wedding from Alan Smith Signature Weddings

The warm waters and sunny beaches of Jamaica hosted this romantic destination wedding with a ceremony that took place just steps from the stunning turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Bridal party attire featured white jackets for the gentlemen and powder blue dresses for the ladies, not only complementing the natural backdrop of the venue, but Gisele’s stunning Romona Keveza trumpet gown. Isn’t the texture and movement revealed in the dress as she has her first dance with David fabulous? A gorgeous choice for this tropical Montego Bay wedding!

The Ceremony

Tropical and romantic. The white tie ceremony took place before sunset on the Spa Lawn of the Round Hill with the old plantation house in the background and the ocean in the foreground.

The Reception

The ceremony was immediately followed by a cocktail hour at the Spa Terrace, complete with a 3-piece steel drum band. A seated four-course dinner and reception followed at the Hanover Terrace at the hotel. The reception lasted late into the evening with the guests dancing nonstop to PACE, a local Reggae band. I changed into a little silk dress for the dancing part of the evening which is why my wedding dress is in such impeccable condition – It was worn for no more than 3 hours.

Gisele’s Dress Search

When I began looking for my wedding dress I had no idea what I wanted it to look like, but I knew it had to be a show-stopper. I probably tried on 60 dresses of all different styles at three different high-end wedding dress stores. I actually ended up buying a different dress initially, but immediately realized I really loved the Romona Keveza Couture gown the most and went back the next morning and purchased it. Luckily for me, they hadn’t placed the first dress order with the other designer yet and I was able to make the swap.

How Gisele Felt in Her Wedding Dress

Glamorous, Comfortable, and Special.

Why Gisele Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress

I am as practical as I am impractical, and I couldn’t imagine keeping such a gorgeous dress in a closet for the rest of my life. I hope another fashionable girl has the opportunity to wear it and feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day.
