The day we’ve all be waiting for has finally arrived! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have said their vows and have officially become the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
In this chapter of their love story, boy married girl in perfect fairytale fashion. Her gown was modern, minimalist and stunning.
The dress was designed by Clare Waight Keller the first female artistic director for Givenchy. The minimalist silk dress featured a bateau neckline, slim 3/4 sleeves and a train cushioned by an underskirt in triple silk organza.
Meghan’s romantic veil was created from silk tulle and featured a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza. The veil also represented the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country, a beautiful nod to tradition.
And making a modern statement, Meghan Markle walked down the aisle by herself until she met Prince Charles at the at start of the Quire. Powerful, beautiful, kind and smart. Meghan is the new modern princess. And we adore her.
